The Legend of Zelda Parallel Worlds

    Wollt ihr ein "neues" Zelda im Stile von A Link to the Past? Dann ist Zelda Parallel Worlds genau das richtige für euch.



    The Legend of Zelda: Parallel Worlds ist ein Romhack von A Link to the Past. Neue Oberwelt und neue Dungeons (ob es neue Items hat weiß ich noch nicht) und neue Story.



    Kennt ihr das Spiel? Habt ihr es gespielt? Werdet ihr es spielen?


    Ich habe es heute auf meinem Android Handheld ausprobiert und habe auch das 1. Dungeon beendet. Ich finde es bis jetzt wirklich super und originell, vom Feinschliff kann es bis jetzt durchaus mit A Link to the Past mithalten.

    Bei Zelda kümmert mich die Story eigentlich nie, daher habe ich das vergessen.^^

    You moved here from another land with a friend to find treasure. Not long after your arrival, a lot of strange occurrences started.


    Seven people "appeared out of nowhere" and beings questioning about the Parallel Tower and the inhabitants of Kakariko Village. The Parallel Tower was situated in the Sky Islands northeast of the village. The legend behind the Parallel Tower was long lost, and only the elders knew the legend.


    Word begins to spread out about the Parallel Tower, and people started to learn about the legend again. The legend says it was a by product of a war long ago and a power, known as the Triforce, existed at the top of it. It is said that nobody knows about the clues as to how to get to the top of the Tower. The seven people are said to know about these "clues" to the Tower.


    The king was notified of these seven people and he invited them to the castle to find out what they wanted with the tower. Just the night before the seven people are to have an audience with the king, the king's assistant, Draegor, eliminates the king and claims the throne by default.


    The seven people walked right into an obvious trap. Draegor, who people believe is a power hungry person, caught all 7 people and forces them to tell him what they know about the Tower.


    When the people learned of the king's fate, a rebel force is gathered in secret to plot against Draegor. The rebel force learned that 2 out of 7 people whom Draegor caught are still alive and imprisoned in the guardhouse. They quickly rallied anyone who may be interested in the Tower and the locals to help these last 2 people.


    You and your friend heard about this plan and are willing help the rebels against Draegor.


    The night of the operation begins the story...

    Ich habe Zelda Parallel Worlds bis jetzt zwei Mal durchgespielt und kann sagen dass es mir gut gefallen hat. Die Story ist eher fad und daher sekundär. Der Schwerpunkt liegt eindeutig auf der neuen Licht- und Schattenwelt sowie den neuen Dungeons.


    Für ein Hack ist das Zelda sehr beeindruckend. Der Entwickler (Euclid) hat nicht zu viel versprochen in dem er angekündigt hat dass kein Gebiet dem bisherigen AlltP gleicht. Graphisch ist das Hack auch ganz fein. Die winterliche Atmosphäre der Schattenwelt finde ich sogar noch düsterer als im Original. Allerdings muss man sagen dass das Spiel schon brutal schwer ist. Wer Zelda immer schon leicht fand, kommt hier ganz auf seine Kosten. Auch wenn der Schwierigkeitsgrad desöfteren als grenzwertig bezeichnet werden kann, so ist das Gefühl der Errungenschaft nach dem Durchspielen eines Folterdungeons desto größer. Ich hatte jedenfalls meinen Spaß. (Ich glaube, es gibt zwei Versionen des Hacks - die neueste wurde im Schwierigkeitsgrad etwas entschärft).


    Zu den Dungeons kann ich noch sagen dass es durchaus einen Kontrast gibt zwischen welchen die unspektakulär oder nervig sind und einigen wirklich einzigartigen, die knifflige Rätsel bieten. Ich würde sagen wer ein eingefleischter AlttP fan ist, für den sollte Parallel Worlds ein Pflichtprogramm sein.

    Das es verdammt schwer sein soll habe ich schon in einigen "Let´s Play´s" gesehen, wo sich die Leute wirklich die Zähne dran ausgebissen haben und ihre "Let´s Plays" einfach beendet haben.
    Wenn würde ich auch lieber die entschärfte Variante zocken !

    Mir ist das Spiel heute erst aufgefallen. Habe vorher noch nichts darueber gehoert. Ich habe mir mal einen kleinen Eindruck durch ein Lets Play geholt. Es soll ja schon sehr schwer sein.
    Ich wuerde es gerne mal spielen. :)
